Returns Policy for Online Only Sales

At Scarlet Poppy, we are committed to providing exceptional service and high-quality gowns to our customers. Please carefully read our returns policy for online-only sales before making your purchase. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

General Policy

  • Non-Returnable Items: All sample and sale gowns are sold as seen and are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • Accessories: For hygiene reasons, all accessories (including tiaras, hair slides, fascinators, veils, etc.) that have been removed from our premises are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Sample Gowns

  • Sample gowns are sold as-is. While every effort is made to ensure the condition of the gown at the time of sale, these gowns have been tried on and displayed in-store, and some imperfections may be present.
  • Dry cleaning services are available for an additional fee of £95 but are conducted at the customer’s own risk.

Exclusions

  • Refunds or exchanges are not available for goods that are no longer wanted, as per the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
  • Any alterations, once commenced, are the responsibility of an independent seamstress, and Scarlet Poppy bears no liability for alteration outcomes.

Payment and Collection

  • Full payment must be made before goods are shipped.
  • All gowns remain the property of Scarlet Poppy until paid for in full.
  • Customers must collect their goods within three months of the agreed delivery date. Uncollected items will be deemed forfeited, and all monies paid will not be refunded.

Returns for Faulty Goods

  • In the unlikely event that your gown is faulty or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to discuss potential remedies. This policy does not cover wear and tear or issues arising after the gown has been altered or worn.

Liability

  • Scarlet Poppy’s liability is limited to the price paid for the product and does not cover indirect or consequential losses.
  • The store is not responsible for breaches caused by circumstances outside of its control, such as acts of God, terrorism, fire, or flood.
